The rocky Senggigi Beach in Lombok is home to the Pura Batu Bolong which is a Hindu temple that was named after the rock with a gaping hole in locally known as the “Batu Bolong”. Once you make the journey to the preserved structure you will find an empty chair which represents the Hindu god of creation, Brahma. Those who are interested in history, culture and architecture are highly encouraged to visit the temple, pay their respects and breathe in the century-old traditions. It is recommended you reach there before sundown and enjoy the view as the sun sets over the sea.
